Student Police Cadet Project (SPC)

SPC unit was inaugurated by Shri. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan on 20^th Feb 2016. It is a farsighted youth development programme that trains students to evolve as future leaders inculcating within them respect for the law, discipline, civic sense, resistance to social evils etc. Developing in today’s students fundamental virtues of citizenship such as adherence to rule of law, respect for others rights, empathy for needy sections of the society is what SPC project aims at. The unit comprising of 44 cadets in each batch follow a 2 year training programme enabling them to take forward the legacy of SPC.
